The Seven Rays
Seven Paths Upward
Life is more richly understood when we glimpse something of God's plan of evolution behind our living. After we grasp this plan we are able to perceive unity emerging through diversity. We can appreciate the needful purpose that underlies all differences in human temperaments, religions, goals and other aspects of outward life.
Esoteric Christianity describes the causes for multiplicity in this way: the Infinite Creator conceived life as a sevenfold process of unfoldment. When virgin spirits were projected from the unmanifested aspect of God Spirit, they entered seven planes of consciousness through seven paths of experience.
