The realm of fire is the most evolved of the four realms and yet it is the least experienced by human consciousness.
Fire is the source of light, and light is what connects us with God. Fire is at once the flame of aspiration, the burning of holy enthusiasm, the warmth of spiritual ardor, and the sunburst of illumination.

The element of fire is closely linked with spiritual enlightenment. In ancient times sacred fires were kept perpetually burning indicating a Holy Order's link with the Divine, and a home's hearth was regarded as a place of consecration. Of the four elements fire holds the most promise for opening the gates of inner perception. The Angels and young ones who serve this kingdom bring quickening and flashes of insight. Yet, we must be at our highest in integrity and spiritual earnestness to even attract the attention of one of these luminous beings.
