Inspiration for the Journey Upward

Remember the motto over the entrance to the Greek mystery schools, which proclaim, Know thyself? How important that is, but the commandment that our Lord Christ gave us in effect was, Lose thyself. If we can lose our lives for the sake of God, we will find our lives. And this is where true humility is put to the test within us. This temple is aimed at helping each of us come to a greater understanding of self that we might give it completely to God.

Our Need for Greater Self-understanding

'I am' is that which is already chiseled and worked upon and made as right as it can be, and then the 'I am becoming' is that which we will be in time, in God's time, and in His Holy way and according to His wisdom and His grace.
