No one can guarantee that every Christmas will be outwardly joyous. Some nativities may be spent in crowded, confused or strange places. Some may come in the midst of testing. This holiest event can genuinely benefit one if he religiously endeavors to remember two things:

Keep Christ at the center of consciousness and bring Him into the hearts of others through self-forgetting kindness, radiated with His Spirit of love.
