Beyond pleasurable family gatherings and the wholesome joyfulness of the season, the purpose of Christmas is the broadcast of a planetary benediction. Each Nativity our planet receives a solar baptism on the day of the solstice, December twenty-first, which lasts until January seventh. This Divine giving emanates from the Solar Logos, Planetary Logos and all the great Presences whose power our Christ wields through to our world. The Hierarch Christ is the distributor of this lofty current, which circulates through every atom of the globe. Mighty Angelic Tuma and Iophel modulate the current and send it downward, until at midnight of December twenty-fourth it is ushered into the physical earth in powerful waves. This descent of Divine Power and Love is projected outward to all dimensions, and we know there is a purity and beauty that is not here at other times. The Angels take that power and lift the loads of darkness so that we can sense and receive more of the divine currents.
