As we think of this one who is Lord of Angels and of humanity, Lord of all religions, and Lord of all spiritual aspiration, we know indeed how true He was, when He said:
My words are spirit and they are life.

Tabitha
Tabitha was a widow living in the Mediterranean coastal town of Joppa. She became known among the followers of Christ as a disciple for the works of compassion and mercy that outflowed from her heart. Luke shares in the Bible that Tabitha was full of good works and acts of charity to the poor. She was never conscious of this. She just tried to live what Jesus' beautiful words and way of gentle kindness had taught her in reverence for all life. This story in Bible was impactful to many because Peter raised her from the dead, and it was a former incarnation of the Master Athena.
Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, "Tabitha, get up."
