SpeakerPodcastExpanding Christ’s Spirit on Earth
November 11, 2018 by Reverend Hal A. Lingerman

Flower A. Newhouse tells us that the one we know to be the Lord Christ is Lord of Angels and of men. We realize He is not a single Presence serving alone but heads an immense company of Angels who carry out the details of His office. When we sincerely and reverently pronounce His name in prayer, it summons any number of these angelic hosts. Because they are so in tune with His spirit, we often feel our Lord's presence through their reflection of His distinctive emanation. Thus it is that when we envision the Holy Trinity, it is not simply three transcendent Beings we call upon, but company upon company of Angels joyously, wholeheartedly serving these three fountainheads of Divinity. Beheld in this way, the Kingdom of God of which our Lord spoke is vast indeed, fully capable of responding to every need.
