Flower has described this as positing the consciousness-putting it forward or positioning it with God. With our consciousness in this position, we have access to the full range of functioning power that comes from God. A great and powerful invisible world surrounds us, a world from which we originated and belong,
far more truly than to the outer world. We often forget about this invisible world-the source and
reservoir of power from which we may draw great energy, inspiration, and revelation. There are so many
powers and pressures to distract us from the inner worlds and keep us focused on our temporary existence
in the outer world. Our purpose and goal in this incarnation is to learn to live on the visible plane, while
keeping our conscious affiliation with the Divine world of Spirit to which we belong forever.

About Flower A. Newhouse
The life and writings of Flower A. Newhouse are those of a Christian mystic, and her insights into the inner realms of life provide us with a path to wholeness that she called "Living the Life." Finding Your True North Classes are held each Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Academy. These classes are designed to help us find ways into God's Presence, using Flower A. Newhouse's western approach to meditation. Early lessons were posted online at /findtruenorth.
Wisdom Classes are led by Rev. Blake Isaac and held on alternating Tuesdays, at 7:30 p.m. in Chapelito.
